Frupco Expediting & Services Launches SeaVue™, the First Real-Time Tracking Platform for the Imported Produce Industry

Comprehensive Tracking System Provides Start-to-Finish Shipment Visibility

Frupco Expediting & Services, Inc. today announced the launch of SeaVue, an innovative data platform offering real-time insights into the status of imported produce. SeaVue sets a new standard in the fresh produce industry, providing unmatched transparency, efficiency, and reliability. The platform enables importers of perishable goods to monitor and manage inventories in real time, enhancing operational control and decision-making.

“The significance of up-to-the minute tracking of shipments cannot be understated in today’s environment,” said Steve Bryant, Chief Executive Officer of Frupco Expediting & Services. “Customers transporting international freight are often operating with limited visibility, cobbling together imperfect sources of information to get an estimate of timing and availabilities. SeaVue addresses many of the long-standing unmet needs in the market, providing Frupco clients with exclusive access to real-time shipment details from start to finish.”

The SeaVue platform is designed to help importers navigate complex supply chains. By providing real-time tracking, SeaVue enhances transparency at every step, enabling better management of delays and minimizing the risks of miscommunication and disruption that can impact operations and increase costs. Upon logging in to the SeaVue platform, users can access live inventory management for both breakbulk and container shipments to improve sales forecasting and warehouse scheduling. SeaVue is exclusively available to Frupco customers.

The comprehensive SeaVue platform offers the following information and provides Frupco customers with access to the following features:

  • GPS tracking of current and future vessel arrival information
  • Seamless communication with quality control teams, warehouse facilities and transportation regarding changes to availability timing
  • Ability to change delivery destinations
  • Select pallets for quality inspection, alerting warehouse staff of pallets requiring examination
  • Filter shipments for viewing by grower, commodity, size or pack style
  • Create customized reports for email or download that include:
    • Summaries of all present and future voyages paired to intended delivery location
    • Detailed inventory for single voyages, including individual container, hatch and/or deck information
    • Past and current storage transfers
    • Past and current customer invoices
    • Export pallet lists to Excel
